Let's eat boiled peanuts

Peanuts in any form be they roasted, cooked in dishes, converted to butter, added to dark chocolate and made into a spread, oil extracted and boiled are tasty and a favourite of many.
The joy is when everyone sits around and peels those boiled peanuts chatting with each other enjoying each other's company I remember doing that years ago when I had visited my mother and my brother who lived with her along with his kids It was a great day to remember.
When was the last time you had such a chit chat munching something and what were you munching?

I love peanuts. Boiled or roasted.
In winter, we love to have Chinese hot pot. We sit around a simmering pot of soup at the center of the table with various raw ingredients—meat, seafood, vegetables, tofu, in small pieces for quick cooking.
We can add whatever we like to the boiling soup Then retrieve cooked food items from the pot with wire ladles, and flavor them with individual dipping sauces.
While having hot pot, we chit chat.

It's not so long I ate boiled peanuts and I like it.
I'm kind of surprise many people in other country like it too.
