Is Cultural Difference, the right reason to fire someone from job?

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I know I have been missing from here since long time. I missed the visit here so much. The reason of my absence was getting my job and being busy working. I got job in Agriculture Company. The thing is their culture is very different than mine as individuals. I tried so much to mix with them but there wasn't any effort from their side. We use to eat lunch by sitting on floor as a tradition. I did all that I can to blend with them. It's not been a month and yesterday evening I got a call from Hr that there is communication gap and I don't have much knowledge of Agriculture industry. I am upset because of their reasons . I found it wierd that someone fires other because of cultural difference. Mind you here I was speaking the same language as them i.e. Gujarati, still such discrimination. I am trying to meet the owners today in person and talk with them to see if things can be sorted out. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care!
