Hello again, myLot!

Hello! It's 12:37 by my computer clock, and I have done a few things since I posted this morning--a couple of them unexpected. I went to the bank to deposit my paycheck, and I guess I saw a couple of yard sale signs on the way, because I got $10 in ones when I deposited my check. I walked down one road and the first garage sale I stopped at didn't have too many interesting things (and the clothes were all too small) though I did buy a little scratch art kit. There were three older ladies in the garage making pupusas so I bought nine of them (three of each "flavor" they offered), so that will be dinner/lunch for a day or so. I chatted with some folks there while I was waiting for the pupusas to be made. Down the street a ways there was another garage sale, and I bought a sequined stuffed owl (something for a trading group). The young lady (maybe 9 or 10 yr.o) said she wanted a dollar for it, but I gave her two. By that time I was practically to the street that would have led me to another street that my old neighborhood was around the corner on, so I went. Thankfully the people (and the dog) that I most wanted to see were outside in their front yard. I stopped and chatted with them a bit, and then the lady offered me a ride home since she was going to the grocery store by my apartment complex anyway, so I took her up on it. Now, I think I am going to go and get my swimsuit on and go to the pool. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
