On Friday I went shopping down town, but this week my Mum didn't come with me, so I could go as fast as I wanted. I took my coat in the trolley just in case, but I didn't put it on.
I went on the top path round Stowe Pool, which I could do because my Mum wasn't with me, and I sat on a bench and made a video of some geese on Stowe Pool. After 10 minutes, I got up and continued down town.
After going to the toilet by the Cathedral, I went to Holland and Barrett and got some liquorice for me and my Mum, and some sugar free biscuits for my Mum.
After I'd been to Holland and Barrett, I went to the Works. I was thinking of going to Tales Press, which is a shop on Dam Street that sells art and craft supplies, to see if they had any of those tear off acrylic palettes that we use at art class, but I thought I'd go to the Works first to see if they had any in there on the off chance. I got a book about stone painting, and a set of large brushes and sponges, which also had a metal palette knife with a pink handle which I thought was natty. Then what did I find? Yes, you guessed it, a pad of peel off acrylic palettes. So I got those too. The book and peel off palettes were both in the sale. The book was originally £14.99, then it was down to £5, then it was down to £3.50! The peel off palettes were half price, originally £3, now £1.50! The brush, sponge and palette knife set was £4, so just £9 in total!
After I'd paid for those I went to Iceland (the shop not the country!) and got my Mum some Chinese style chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, some cereal bars, some lamb burgers, a pizza style garlic bread, some strawberries, ginger nut biscuits for my step-dad and some more sugar free biscuits for my Mum. At first I couldn't find the biscuits because they'd moved them from where they originally were again ofcause! I eventually found them up the corner where the milk is.
When I went and paid it cost just over £21. I only had £25 of my Mum's money left, and a bit of change. Well, she did want quite a lot.
After I'd finished in Iceland,I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral, and then I set off for home. I went on the top path round Stowe Pool again. The geese had gone to the other side of the pool by now, and I could only just see them in the distance.
When I got home my Mum said, "What did you do, fly?" she thought I was home that quickly. It was 12:15pm and I'd set out at 10:30am. I unpacked the groceries and put some of them away. I let my Mum sort out where the frozen things were to go. Then I had my lunch and watched some telly.
I've been to Church this morning, and tomorrow I've got to go for my medicine review. I've also got to remember to order my repeat prescription.
The picture above is of the acrylic palette pad.
What have you been getting up to?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

You scored some real bargains with the art supplies. Not much going on here. Went to Red Lobster yesterday for dinner. Enjoy your day.

Yes, I did, didn't I?
I hope you enjoyed your day, even though there wasn't much going on.
I hope you enjoyed your dinner at Red Lobster. Is that like a pub or a restaurant?
Enjoy your day too.

@LindaOHio You're welcome and thank you very much for telling me what the Red Lobster is. My Mum got some little lobster and cheese snack pots last week, and because my step-dad didn't like them, my let me have a couple. But I didn't know what to think of them. They tasted funny!
