1) "WHAM!"--Netflix--documentary--1 hour & 32 minutes--George Michael & Andrew Ridgeley relive the arc of their career--I never knew much about Ridgeley or WHAM and only was TV aware of George--this opened my eyes to Andrew as a composer, to Michael as a singer and both as entertainers--Their friendship is a story like no other--A MUST SEE! 2) "SOFTLAD"--Prime Amazon--movie--1 hour & 23 minutes--David is sleeping with his sister's husband--while there are some cliches it is a new look at an old story and what it can and does cause in a relationship--A STRONG MOVIE. 3) "Goodnight Oppy"--Prime Amazon--documentary--1 hour & 45 minutes--about Mars rover Opportunity which landed on Mars in 2004 for the next 15 years--as most people know SCI-FI doesn't interest but this non-fiction SCI-FI MEZIMIRISED ME AND GOT ME TO TEARS WITH THE SONG AT THE END. 4) "White House Down"--Netflix--movie--2 hours & 11 minutes--when violent mercenaries take over the White House a Capitol police officer springs into action to save his daughter--starring Jamie Foxx, Channing Tatum and Maggie Gyllenhall--A GOOD ACTION MOVIE. 5) "My Friends My Love"--Prime Amazon--movie in French and English--1 hour & 34 minutes--2 divorced guys become a modern-day odd couple when they move in together plus 1 has a daughter and the other a son--no it is not the Matthau/Jack Lemon odd couple and no they are not a gay couple--A WEEK, FUNNY ROM-COM LIKE ONLY THE FRENCH CAN MAKE. 6) "The Horror of Delores Roach"--Prime Amazon--series--8 episodes--3 hours & 49 minutes--after an unjust 16-year prison sentence Delores returns to Washington Heights and reunites with an old stoner friend--with a little Sweeny Todd thrown in--TRIED TO MAKE IT FUNNY BUT TOO MUCH 'HORROR' FOR ME. 7) "Thank You For Your Service"--Netflix--1 hour & 49 minutes--the war continues, mentally, for some soldiers returning from Iraq and struggle to get back to family & civilian life--THIS IS AVERY HARD MOVIE TO WATCH BUT SHOULD BE SEEN! 8) "She Said"--Prime Amazon--movie--2 hours and 9 minutes--the true story of the 2 female reporters behind the investigation of producer Harvey Weinstein--VERY INTERESTING FROM BEGINNING TO END!

"A weak, funny rom-com like only the French can make...." That's absolutely perfect.

Thank you for the reviews. Nothing for me here but I did love Angela Lansbury in Sweeny Todd.
