Many people have been asked for help by someone in need at some point in their lives. Acts of kindness and empathy can make a significant difference in the lives of others, and it's important to offer assistance when we can. It's always heartwarming to see people helping one another, and it reinforces the idea that we should be compassionate and supportive to those in need.

That was quite a big thing for her to do!
A couple of weeks ago, I got a knock on my door, and it was two girls in my apartment complex that I had never seen before. They wanted a ride to Walmart to get their sleeping dad some Ibuprofen for his bum knee. I didn’t feel good, but was worried about who they’d eventually get a ride from so I took them. One was pregnant, but the other realized on her way that she was about to start her period, and needed pads. I gave them my money, which was two dollar bills, and about $4 in coins to get some. That was the last occasion I helped someone in need. It was a small thing, but I’m glad I was able to help.
