Is anyone else as sick of the stupid that goes on in the Star Wars movies as I am? I mean, really, clones upon clones of the bad guys. Supersuits that look like Batman and Ironman had a baby. Spoiler: Stop here if you haven't seen Season 3, Episode 8. If Moff Guidion shows up again in a future episode, that would destroy any pretext of story continuity the entire Disney/Star Wars Universe ever had, which wasn't much, to begin with. Are you a fan of Star Wars or of the Mandalorian?

I am a big fan of the original 3 movies. Not so much the prequels or the sequels. I thought Rogue One was great and loved the first two seasons of the Mandalorian. The others, like Solo, Obi Wan, and Boba Fet weren't nearly as good, IMHO.

My 13 year old pretty much agrees . . . and we are Star Wars fans! I want to like these movies, but sometimes can't. I'm sorry but Moff Guidion threw me off from the beginning . . . I can't get Gus Fring (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) out of my mind!!! Some of these movies just need to stop - THAT would be the way .

I really liked the original Star Wars movies, but never watched any of the prequels or the Mandalorian. My brother-in-law though, loved The Mandalorian. At least he did the first two seasons; I haven’t heard his opinion of season three.

I am having a hard time watching new Star Treks let alone Star wars stuff. I actually liked the way Mandalorian started out but somewhere in season 2 made me go, eh starting to lose the magic of the cute guy. He was carrying the show and what really rubs me is robot man the star or the baby big ear dude. The big ear baby takes over and its same kind of story telling, no underdog allowed to win. Mandalorian is better with his violence than the big ear baby trying to teach peace. I guess would be boring if was all peace but seems to be same story every time.

I am a fan of Star Wars, but I haven't seen any of the episodes of the Mandalorian yet. I've been trying to catch up on all the Marvel movies first, since I recently got into that genre.

I tried to get into the Marvel thing, but it seemed like every movie was the same thing over and over. The same heroes fighting the same villains who, despite being defeated, keep coming back. For the first 95% of the movie, the bad guys do all the winning and in the last 5%, the good guys miraculously find a way to win. DC is the same. It's why I gave up on the whole superhero genre. Give me a superhero who shows up, beats the bad guys hard, leaves none alive to make a comeback, and moves on to the next problem.

@moffittjc Wandavision and Loki are the two exceptions so far, and they weren't movies but miniseries. Wandavision was awesome.

@DWDavis Haha, you are exactly right, which is why it took me so many years to bother getting around to watching the Marvel movies.

The first 3 movies were the best. The computer-generated imagery might have gotten better over the years, but with the exception of Roque One and the first 2 seasons of Mando, the others didn't live up to the promise of those first three.

@DWDavis I was amazed by the first movie, it was different. Now, they all seem to be the same!

I use to enjoy Star Wars, but after a disappointing episode 7, I only sat through half of episode 8 and haven't seen 9. Haven't watched any of the other offerings in the Star Wars universe. I did subscribe to Disney+, for a month, as I wanted to see the latest Predator film. That wasn't too bad
