Rita's again - this time, SUCCESS

Remember the all too sweet apple pie "CONCRETE" concoction we tried? Well, the day my daughter got her final xrays and CT scan before surgery, we stopped at a Rita's on the way home. The image is what I got. A fudge brownie gelati - a layering of fudge brownie Italian ice and vanilla frozen custard. Far superior to that apple pie thing!! I don't have a picture, but my daughter got the orange cream ice with vanilla custard for a creamsicle gelati. I think I'd like that as well. It was hot outside, but we were quite comfy inside her car with these two treats.
