Hello again, myLot!

Birthday card I bought for my nephew

I've been home about an hour and a half, I think, but got caught up in doing things on the computer, and still need to have lunch and do the chores I posted about this morning. I went to the bank, then on the way back walked down the street a ways that last week I went to a garage sale on. Didn't see any garage sale evidence, so I turned and went back, turning down a street that led to another street that led to my apartment complex, but instead of stopping at my apartment complex, I continued down the road to the shopping center, where I went to the Hallmark store and got a birthday card for my oldest nephew for next month, (I met him when he was two days old, that's how I still see him in my head, so how on earth could he be turning eighteen!?!?!?). After that I went to the grocery store, and of course bought more than I meant to, but it will all get used/eaten. Now I want to eat some lunch and get a couple of chores done, and then I can relax for a bit. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Eighteen years sure does go by fast when dealing with relatives.

My oldest niece is only twelve, and I’m having a hard enough time with that. When she turns eighteen I might cry. I just see the little baby I fell in love with.

I have no nieces or nephews being an only child. But, I do have 6 grandchildren and I know what you mean about remembering them at a certain age. I saw the youngest when he was born, but didn't see him again until he was 6. He hid from me and asked his mother who I was. His brother, who was 7, didn't react that way. He was too busy playing video games with his brother, 9. But, Oliver decided to stay by my side during the entire visit, holding doors for me and waiting for me on the stairs because they're difficult for me to navigate these days. Such a little gentleman.
