There is so much written about candles and their uses. One does not have to be a witch I am told to take away enmity, hostility, hatred or whatever in a connection or a relationship. All what you have to do is to blow away a black candle thinking of that person or persons We do have unpleasant relationships be it in the family, neighbours, or even at Sites. I have never had to blow out a black candle in my lifetime.

Me neither but in one's life time there could be some who can contribute to one's misery forcing them to give up that relationship.

Frankly, here normally we just have red or white candles. I have never seen black candles.

Just as perfumed candles purify the air I suppose there could be some truth in it as well
