We had a very busy , stressful day yesterday and I will share what happened. It started when I was awaken early morning because I heard my mom's voice , one of my cats is meowing and thats why I decided to get up out of bed to check what's happening.
While I was going to the kitchen ( that's where the noise is coming from ) I could hear mom chasing after one of our cats , she wants to bring the cat outside but she's scared . Mom told me that while she's turning off the light outside , Whitey jumped up and immediately went inside our house and thats where it all started.
I saw my brother too and told me that He was accidentally scratched by whitety , what happened was when whitey went inside , Whitey looked scared maybe because mom was chasing her , Whitey ran inside and accidentally passed by my brother which resulted to Whitey scratched my brother. I told my brother to immediately go to the animal bite department or EMERGENCY to have the scratches checked by a doctor.
When He arrived at the Hospital He was assisted to the Animal Bite Department , the doctor checked and told him its not a bite , just a little deep scratch and He should get anti rabies and anti tetanus shots because there's a skin opening.
They ran a skin test first on my brother and after the result was revealed they told my brother that the first shot was for free and that He will just buy needles and pay some miscellaneous fees. A total of four shots, two shots on both arms.
He will go back to the Animal Bite Dept this friday for a check up . Good thing there are available vaccines and doctors in our hospital .
Friends, always be careful around your pets. Rabies according to the doctors is very deadly.
Fellow lotters and readers have you been scratched or bitten by your pets? Have you gone to recieving anti rabies and anti tetanus shots because of that?
The picture uploaded was my brother's needles whom he bought in the pharmacy. He will use it this coming Friday , his check up.

I always get my dog vaccinated for rabies. That way if it is ever bitten by a rabid animal it will not get the disease. And if your pet is already vaccinated, and it bites you, you won’t have to worry about getting rabies or the rabies shot either. You can get it vaccinated every year, or for a little more, it can be given every three years. As for a tetanus shot, I got one seven years ago after a cut on the arm, and you only have to have one every ten years.

Correct. When we have a breeding business for dogs before, I am incharge of taking care of puppies, feeding, basic grooming ; good thing even though we have large breeds before I wasnt even bitten or scratched , I take precautions.

@iKONICNoona I had a list too, but I forgot about it. It wasn't very long though.
