Just what the title says. It has been one disappointment after another. Company A - I passed the initial and final interviews. Everything was done online. WFH. Morning schedule. Pay can do better but I would gladly take the job. I was just waiting for the job contract to be emailed. Recruiter said she has to check if I'm good to be rehired since I used to work for a company that they took over. Took her all but two minutes to say that I'm not eligible for rehire. Didn't give any reason. I was too numb to react. I could have saved myself from three hours of waiting and two interviews. Nailed both interviews by the way. Both interviewers wanted to hire me. Company B - Another online interview. Passed the interview and the online assessment exams. Said I need to take a technical exam, they asked me to check my email and they will send instructions and ended the Zoom meeting. I checked my email and saw the email. It said I need to join their Viber (the messaging app) group for further instructions. Why I need to join their Viber group and why they can't send the instructions via email is beyond me. I joined the Vibe group was welcomed and was told to wait for my name to be posted. Along with my name will be the link for the technical assessment. Back read the previous messages and they group people into 15 to 20 individuals and send the technical assessment link. That link will be exclusive for that set of people. I joined the Viber group last Monday and today is already Saturday and I haven't seen any new list posted although it is obvious that there are new people joining the Viber group. This is another WFH opportunity and since I only have to wait (although I've been waiting for almost a week) I just decided to stick around and see what happens. Come Tuesday next week and there isn't a new list yet, I'll follow up. Company C - This one takes the cake! Took them more than a month to get back to me and inform me that I passed their screening and was scheduled for a final interview with the Operations Manager. The recruiter sent a SMS and email with the schedule for a Zoom interview. The SMS and email were sent Friday afternoon and my interview was scheduled for Saturday morning - as in 12:45am of a Saturday morning. I understand the time difference and I was fine with that. This one is another WFH offer but the schedule starts at around 3pm and ends 12md. Schedule ain't too bad. So I confirmed my attendance via SMS and email. The recruiter calls me and informs me to log in earlier than 12:45am since the Operations Manager advised the recruiter that she will be working through her lunch to conduct the interviews. I said no big deal and confirmed to the recruiter that I'll log in at early for my interview. There were five of us scheduled for the interview and each interview would last 30 minutes. This is based on the information in the email. Stayed up late Friday and promptly logged in the Zoom interview room at 12:28am. A notification pops up and states that the Zoom interview hasn't started yet and once the organizer logs in, they will be informed that I'm already waiting in the virtual lobby. I took a screenshot of the notification and attach it to an email and sent it to the recruiter. I asked if there was a delay in the interviews. I also send an SMS. If the interviews start late, then all the five interviews are moved back. Duh! 12:45 comes along and I hear nothing from the recruiter. Finally at 1:00am, I decide to call it a night. Monday comes along and I get an email from the recruiter advising me that I'll be rescheduled for another interview. That was Monday and it is already Saturday night and I still haven't heard from them. So yeah, still no luck with my job hunt. I'm start posting about the food I ate the past week because me writing about my job hunting disappointments might bore you already. Hope everyone is faring better than me in life.

I can’t imagine your frustration. You deserve those jobs about ten times over by now.

@allen0187 I am sorry brother, I personally hate this world right now, they think they being so productive by being unproductive. We have so many problems that need to be fixed and their capitalism does not want to pay for it. It goes both ways. Make all kinds of money but you have to pay people too.
