Hello, myLot! Today wasn't bad, just crazy. The photo (whether it shows or not) is not from today. We had nine of our regular kids, from what I counted, plus my co-worker brought her two elementary-age daughters (like 3rd and 4th graders I think), because she'd asked our boss if it was okay to do so, and it was my co-worker's birthday. With the two extra girls there it was a bit crazier than usual, and I could tell at certain points that they got kind of bored, though to start off the older girl was good with one or more of our babies. The kids were all excited that we had "guests" there, so they acted a little crazier than normal, but after that Coast Guard daycare experience I know that they could have been much worse. After my co worker left at 3, my boss asked if I could stay until 5, which is about the time when she closes, and offered me a ride home, which I took her up on. I'd never been there when she'd closed. Basically she waited until all of the kids got up from nap, they had snack, then stayed at the table until their parent(s) came to get them. One of our boys could not get off his bed until much later than his friends because all he did was goof off during nap time and continued to do so even when told not to. (Still no where near as bad as the coast guard...) My boss drove me home when they all left, and now I am waiting for a ride to church for dinner/Bible study.
