LIGHTNING STRIKES!

Have You ever seen lightning strike the ground? Not too long ago during a thunderstorm we were inside the house when we heard a tremendous explosion. The ground shook violently.
We saw an extremely bright light coming in through the window. We thought it was just lightning that was very close. In the morning it was calm and I was walking around when I noticed a deep hole in the ground about 1 foot in diameter. It was where the lightning bolt had struck. It was approximately 50 feet from our house.
This is why we felt the ground shake.

We had lightning hit the house not to long ago. We lost 4 TV's, DRV, Xbox, 2 VCRs, the AC, our tub in our room lost the jets, and the garage door opener. It was horrible.
