I got up a little later than usual, but at least I'm not working today. Last night after Bible study a lot of talking went on, and my usual ride had to leave on an errand before she went home. The friend I wound up going home with is an incessant talker, and I wound up sitting out in her car with her in front of my apartment talking until nearly 10 p.m., which meant when I got in I went straight to bed and didn't get to say "good night" here. Oh, well. I don't get to talk to people at length much these days, and I'm not working today, so... I'm having breakfast and will son have coffee. Unfortunately I have to go back to the Hallmark store and replace the birthday card that I got for my nephew, as I don't know where I put the one I orignally bought. I need to get it ready and send it today, too. Otherwise, there's chores around the apartment to be done. Have a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

It is nice to just talk to people once in awhile. I hope you have a good day.

It sure is. So many "conversations" these day are just texting.

You got a talker, huh? Sometimes we get a chance to exercise patience, don’t we? And then sometimes it’s really nice.

I enjoy talking to this lady, but she keeps going and going without a breath and I can't get a word in edgewise. It's a bit of an excersise in patience.

@xstitcher That’s unfortunate. Unless someone is in a crisis, conversations are always better when people get to equally participate.

Meeting a talker can lead to two experiences..a good and enjoyable one OR one where you are annoyed and have to exercise your patience.. I am assuming that you had an enjoyable one Have a good day

Wasn't annoyed, just a little exercise in patience and trying not to be too concerned as to how late it was getting.
