Hello! Went to the bank, then on the way back saw the bus wasn't coming for an hour, so I went to the in-store Starbucks at the grocery store and got a cold drink, then came back to wait for the bus. Finally I caught the bus to the old neighborhood. I stopped and talked to a neighbor that lived across the street and a few houses down, and explained to him why I was there and he said he'd be happy to drive me home and he'd be there in a minute. I had kind of wanted to stay a bit longer, but I appreciated the offer. When I got to the house, I saw the package was not on the porch. I had called my next door neighbor, whose house I stopped at, who said he'd gotten the message, but nothing else that I remember. I had told him in the message that the folks who lived in the house could keep it if they wanted (it was just a box of toilet paper), so it was no big deal, and I did get to say hi to my dog friend who hangs out in the garage. I saw the first guy had parked across the street and was waiting, so it was no big deal, and I told my neighbor again that the folks in the house could keep it if they wanted. The other neighbor gave me a ride home, and so here I am before one o clock. I'd like to put something else up for sale on Facebook marketplace (one of my many books) and do a bit more "cleaning". So, it was kind of a wasted trip, but not really. I did get to say "hello" to a couple of folks. Now I need to find something for lunch.
