Yesterday, we were on the verge of accepting the buyer's offer for our house in another state. But whenever we look at the paperwork that our realtor sent, it is not amended to reflect our counter which the buyer has agreed to. It took her 3 times to send the corrected one, and by the time we received the third one, my husband and I are already in a crappy mood. Well, it's not just about the realtor's doing, we have been so exhausted and lacking sleep with all the things that we have to do with moving. It's so stressful, and their lack of attention to detail is not helping. So after a while, the husband decided to close our email and take a short trip to a casino. No, we don't have a gambling predilection! But it's the only past time that we could think of that is still open during that time. We drove an hour to get there and decided to have dinner. I had their kimchi fried rice, and the husband had their prime rib. It was so good, and reasonably priced. Then feeling energized by that meal, I tried my luck at a couple of slot machines and won a total of $52.00! It's not much, but it was fun. We only stayed there for a little over an hour and headed home so we can be in bed before midnight. That little break was a welcome diversion. This morning, we're feeling refreshed and ready to deal with this matter in a calmer manner.

Are you selling the house you're living in? Hope it all works out well.

Yes, it's on the market. Hopefully it is sold by the end of this week, hopefully if everything goes well.

@Raine38 Where will you go after it's sold?

I have never been to a casino, although I’ve always wanted to play a slot machine. It’s got to be annoying when something as important as buying a house keeps getting messed up by someone who is supposed to be a professional.

Yes, especially since it's been a while since we both sold a house and things have changed, but it what it is. We can't wait until this whole house thing is over.
