………. And you will receive. I believe it is true. I helped someone yesterday in small way. I gave the person in charge of the apartment complex a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter, two oranges, and three apples. She is 65 years old, yet she cannot retire because she needs money to survive. She told me that she is exhausted and wants to rest, but she doesn't have a choice. While I was unpacking my belongings from our short trip, her sister brought me a tub of pancit bihon (Filipino rice noodles). I was moved by their gesture because, despite not having enough, they found a way to offer or share what they did have.

I have noticed that good deeds are always repaid when we least expect it to happen.

Indeed. They say that the more we give, the more we gain. I love helping people in the best way I can without asking anything in return. Anyway, how are you?

That is sad to hear about your neighbor. She's already 65, can't she draw from her retirement (SSS)? I am not sure what's the minimum retiring age there now, but my mom who is not yet 65 was able to retire from teaching during the pandemic. She is fortunate to have someone as caring and generous as you for a neighbor. I believe that every good deed that we do will not be for nothing someday.

I did not ask about her SSS. Maybe she has one, but not enough to meet her daily needs. That's wonderful to hear. I hope she enjoys her retirement years. What did she teach in school? My mother used to be a Biology teacher. Also, thank you. A little kindness can go a long way.

That is how difficult life is these days. That is correct. Some elderly people are underpaid. And thank you for acknowledging my gesture. How are you doing?
