Today's trip down town.

I've been down town shopping again today.
My Mum went to the hairdressers today instead of yesterday, so she gave me her shopping list and some money before she went out. The window cleaner came just before she went out, so she told me to pay him if he came for the money before I went out. As it turned out he hadn't even started when I went out so I didn't have to pay him.
I thought it looked like it might rain when I went out so I put my coat in the trolley, but I didn't put it on. I went on the top path round Stowe Pool as usual, and then I went to the toilet by the Cathedral. I then went and posted a letter.
Then I went to the Works, just to have a look, I wasn't buying anything.
After that I went to Beacon Park to take some photos. I took a few photos but then I was having trouble seeing what I was doing. All I could see was a black screen and my reflection, so I didn't take any more photos. I wanted to take a photo looking down the road towards the Cathedral, but I couldn't because of not being able to see what I was doing. I'll try and put one of the pictures I managed to take at the top, but I don't know if uploading pictures is still not working.
After that I went back to Iceland and got some things for my Mum. I got Chinese style chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and prawn piella, garlic bread and strawberries. I also treated myself to an areo.
Then I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral, and after that I headed off for home. I walked back round the top path round Stowe Pool again.
When I got home I gave my Mum her change and her shopping list. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. My Mum said the window cleaner hadn't even started when she got back from the hairdressers. I managed to find a picture looking down towards the Cathedral on the copyright free pictures sight. It's not quite the view I wanted, it's starts further down the street, but it's close enough.
Then I had my lunch and watched The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross on Sky Arts. Now I'm watching Home and Away.
What are you getting up to?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

It sounds like you had a good shopping trip. I often have trouble seeing the pictures when I'm taking photos outside. I take them anyway and look at them when I get home. They usually turn out fine.
I've been working on books this morning.

@sharonelton That makes it hard when you can't tell if the tablet is on or off.
Not this morning, but I did when I got home this afternoon.

@just4him Yes, it did! It just looked like a black screen whether it was on or off, so it got confusing!
I'm glad you had success eventually when working on the books.

Yes, I did have a good shopping trip, thank you very much.
The problem was, after a while, I couldn't even see if the tablet was on or off!
I hope you've had a successful morning working on the books.

Thank you very much, that is very kind of you. I'm going shopping to the big Tesco again this afternoon. I'll be watching some more Joy of Painting too.

@writerjo Thank you very much.
I'm looking forward to going shopping and getting out of this stuffy house.
I'll enjoy watching The Joy of Painting. He did oil paintings and I don't do oil paintings but it's good to watch and it's relaxing. Infact, it's so relaxing that sometimes I end up going to sleep!

I don't know, I don't really know many of the actors names.
I'm glad too. It's a good picture.

Shame the weekend is over, but at least it's a bank holiday.

@sharonelton Why wash windows, that’s what I’d like to know. Especially if it’s going to rain. I’m a bit snarky today because I’ve had soup out of a tin and it was laden with salt and since I no longer eat salty stuff I feel sick now.

Yes, you're right! It rained the following day and made the Windows mucky again!
I know what you mean. It would do the same to me too. I make my own soup in my soup maker these days. When winter comes I'll start doing it again.
