The sundari trees in sundarbans have roots coming out of the soil.

Sundarbans is famous for the sundari trees. The water level is at same level as the sea level which is very unique in the Sundarbans. As their are tidal waters the roots of the sundari protrude out of the soil in the waters for better nourishment. The forests act as buffers.

It must be a wonderful place to visit. I am sure that you would have tried posting photos. The technical glitch is not letting it happen. It would have been good to see the pictures.
