As one ages and those who have put on a lot of weight will have the issue of putting a load of one's knee joints and leg muscles.
My physio therapist has recommended a few moves that will help straighten legs that show those indications. I have noticed it and that in turn puts a load on the knees.
If not taken care of there is the fear of the snapping of the knee ligaments. Those moves also help strengthen leg muscles.
Have you noticed any change?

We need to keep working on our diet and body and should stay fit and these knee-related issues will stay away.
How often do you check with the Physio?

I ride a stationary bike and walk daily. Also I take omega 3. These things make my knees feel good. I hope that what you are doing will help you.

No, I haven’t noticed any changes yet, but I’m not quite sure when those problems show up. My brother-in-law is 52, and he has started having trouble. His doctor gave him physical therapy exercises, he has lost weight, and he gets stem cell shots in his knees every three months. It has helped his knees greatly.

No stem cell shots but those few moves do help with increasing muscle strength of the legs and that in turn puts less load on the knees.

@allknowing I get 8000 steps a day but I don’t know if that’s good for the knees.

Using the right kind of walking shoes is important. Hope you get them.
