My short story, "Caught by the Tide," is about a teenager whose boat gets stuck on a mud bank when the tide goes out just before dark. The story relates how he spends the night sleeping on his boat and dreaming about a girl in his homeroom class until the rising tide awakens him. The story has just been published in the online magazine TOTAL FICTION. This is the third one of my stories they've picked. I hope my streak continues.

It's not from the class, exactly, but it's one where I incorporated the lessons from the class in rewriting a story I'd had on the back burner for a while.
