Hello again, mylot!

I was out of quite a few things that weren't food, and even though I didn't wind up getting a couple of things on my list, I got a couple of things that weren't on my list. 
It will all get used.
When I got home my door was locked, and I hadn't brought my key. I'd left my door unlocked because I'd just gone across the street to the store. I knew someone was coming today to check the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, so I guess they locked the door after them. I went to the office, told them, and one of the ladies got on the walkie-talkie and called a maintenance guy. Before I got back to my apartment, I was distracted by a cute dog, 
and when I headed to my apartment again, I saw a maintenance guy waving. Sure enough, my door was open when I got back.
I've since made a couple of phone calls: made a second doctor's appointment and checked that some medication was ready to pick up (guess I should go and get that in a bit) and then I'll do all of the cross-stitch and whatever kind of stuff I wrote about before.

I forgot that benefits would hit a day early this month, so Henry went one day without treats. He lived to tell his tail about it, though. I walked to the store the moment it opened at 6:00 this morning. He has napped most of the day since. I forgot the laundry detergent then, though. So I walked next door to Ace Hardware. Then I washed some clothes. After that, I walked to the thrift shop and bought a paper shredder and a few other things. Meanwhile, one of my neighbors also talked to our property manager privately about stopping my nextdoor neighbor from continuing to harass and discriminate against me as she has for the past fifteen months.
