Good almost evening from California! Woke up a bit later than I cared to this morning, so I grabbed my stuff and went to get the bus without saying "Good morning." Work was crazy--five "older" kids (two and up) and five babies at work today--unless there's someone I've forgotten. My co worker was there most of the day fortunately, but when her shift ended, this other girl (I'd say she was twenty-something) came in. I was never introduced, but evidently she's working there, and I was dealing with a couple of the babies, and my boss usually tells me when it's time for me to go (4 p.m.), as there's no working clock in the room. Today she was pretty busy and suddenly she comes in and says, "It's 4:30!" and I missed the bus so I walked home, then I went and got the mail, and now here I am. Sheesh. My brain is still spinning a bit. Oh, actually, when I got home and got on line, I realized that I needed to ship something, so I wrapped it and stuck it in the mailbox, then got my mail while I was there. I got yet another little package, plus a check for my share of the rent from my brother, so I'll have three checks to take to the bank Saturday, since I haven't yet been able to deposit my work check from last week.
