Just got anew cell phone, and darn it, I dropped it and the screen is cracked up all over. I got this phone free through t mobile pay two months in advance program. I see a do it yourself repair kit, but don't know if it will work on these cracks. Have you used a cell phone repair kit to repair your cracked screen?

No, but it also depends on how deep the scratches are. Be careful though. Don't forget to use gloves where advised.

Thanks. The scratches are pretty deep like it's shattered on a lot of the screen

@db20747 If they are that deep, you might consider screen replacement. If the scratches are to bad, then any attempt at self-repair (unless you know how to replace a screen), will permanently damage your device.

@kaylachan thank you, this is a good point. Perhaps it won't be too e pensive.

I have never used a DIY repair kit. Usually, I go to a repair shop and let the technician repair it.

I would like this but that price tag is quite high.

No, I’ve never had to, and I don’t know if I could do it myself.
