If you want to leave your executive job for a business you dreamed of come true, the reason behind it is freedom. When we have a boss, our work is left and right, with no freedom to pause for the eyes of the boss focus is fixed on the workers. You can only feel the short freedom when you go to the comfort room to relax a little and to imagine what life is like without a boss. The salary might be good but you believe that you can have a better life than what you have at work. When your plan to leave your executive work is fixed and final, no turning back, and proceed to your desired life with freedom. Once you already set up your business, but feel insecure the first time, do not be ashamed to ask for help. Ask for help from others in a way that makes them proud to give. Remember the ups and downs in business and be prepared to absorb the bumps financially. Yes, there is freedom if manage your own business affairs, but risks are inevitable, once again, ask for help. You are not alone in your decisions and plans. You have your family, relatives, and friends. Be happy with the freedom you are seeking. It is your business and you are free to make your business grow tall and proud.

Freedom is how you see it. When you work for an organization, you don't have freedom of your time, but when you're on vacation, you have freedom to do what you want. As a business owner, even if you're on vacation, you can't really be free of it without checking in on your business. As a business owner, there is no clocking-out. You do not stop being the owner whether you're home, having dinner, or at home just watching TV. You are also not free to do anything you want because you are constrained by the whims and wants of your customers.

@Raine38 , so true, if we work with someone else expect no freedom. It is only felt once out of that office or company. But if we have our own business, we are always free being the boss.

One must be financially equipped before resigning to put up own business. One major expense would be the cost of rental. It's better to have your own place as business place so you will save on expense. One should also adjust his lifestyle. An executive gets all the perks of having cars with gasoline allowance, free meals, representation expenses, travel and all sorts of amenities.

@florelway, that surely happens if the employee no longer finds happiness in his work and plans to quit and operate a business of his own to feel complete freedom from a boss that may have a toxic attitude or so nosy.
