Only My Guppies and Two Snails Survived

As you have probably known, I went on vacation in the Philippines for a month in August. That means I left my fish in the aquarium in Jeddah without asking anybody to take care of it. I actually intentionally did it in order to know whether they are going to survive or not. I was confident they would survive. I asked my brother he said they would survive if the oxygen was present.
But unfortunately my housemate turned off the main switch of the flat. So our flat had no electricity all throughout. When I came from vacation, to my surprise my big aquarium with different species of fish had nothing left but some floating things. My one small fish bowl still had my guppies although the water was at its lowest level already. The other fish bowl with baby mollies had no left but dried stones.

That is sad that almost all perished. I think when you leave them for a long time you should have it watched by someone there to feed and check on them from time to time. In my case when I leave for several days, I would add additional gadgets such as an auto feeder and I added automated smart plugs that would turn off and on at a certain time so that the gadgets and lighting would turn themselves on and off.
