What I Did This Past Weekend

Heyyy. It's been a while since I've made a "this is how my weekend went" post, so I think I'll do that before starting on my last order of the night. Saturday: I went out with my best friend, her son, and my 23-year-old nephew. We decided to hit up several stores just to check out the fall and Halloween items. Our stops included T.J. Maxx, Wal-Mart, and Spirit Halloween. At Walmart, I found a cute pumpkin-themed rubber duck for $0.25, so I bought that for my workspace and a candy bar for my nephew. At Spirit, I bought my niece a "Carrie" (the 1976 horror movie) shot glass, and then I donated $2 so I could get my Spirit Halloween bracelet. The proceeds go to a children's hospital, so it's for a good cause. I think that's all I bought during our outing, outside of a drink or snack. When my nephew and I were dropped off, I took a nap on the couch with my dogs. I had been dealing with eye strain, and I was tired, so it was necessary. By the way, I also limited my screen time that day, so my eyes had a chance to recharge. I'm also going to be making an appointment with the eye doctor because I think I'm due for new glasses. Anyway, I was invited to the carnival with my best friend and the Little Guy later that evening, so I went, and her sister met up with us for a little while. It rained for a bit, but it was still fun. We had pizza, helped the Little Guy with games, he got on some rides, and yes, we saw Santa lol. Once I got home, I watched a movie called "Shiva Baby" with my niece and eventually went to bed. Sunday: I worked on a writing order that was meant to be finished on Friday (and it was due on Monday), but my eyes were hurting so I moved it to Sunday. I also ran to Michaels, Target, and Dunkin Donuts with some of the family, and my niece treated us to Dunkin. I got some iced caramel latte, but I think I want the pumpkin one next time. Anywho, the rest of my day was spent working on that order, eating dinner, and watching Big Brother 25. And that's pretty much it for the weekend. So, it was eventful, sort of productive, and a bit recharging, but overall, it was a good weekend. Alrighty, back to work I go! :)
