These scammer guys (at least, I'm pretty sure it was scammers) must think I'm stupid.
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I haven't fallen for scams, it's just "Once bitten, twice shy..."
I got a text from a number I didn't recognize saying, "We're sure no one has contacted you about this matter..." Seriously? What "matter"? If you're not going to tell me, then I'm not going to contact you about it. I may not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but I'm not completely stupid.
Needless to say, I deleted the message. If you're going to text me about some "important matter", then tell me what said "important matter" is, for goodness' sake, or I'm going to assume you're trying to scam me!

I am careful when I receive any messages on my email or phone telling me that I owe money to the IRS or need a computer cleanup asking me for money. It is usually a scam.
