Today we have a holiday in my country. It commemorates the Independence of my country. Yesterday the authorities assisted to a Tedeum with joined churches at the Cathedral. Today the there is a military parade in front of authorities presided by the President.
I told one of my friends here that everyone is more interested on the trained dogs than on the young military with drums, the tanks and the planes. The puppies are in pouches in the arms of their trainers. The trainers march in front of the authorities. But the big dogs march guided by them. They don´t miss a step
There are trained dogs to search for bombs and for drugs. But there are also dogs trained to find people who are under a house in ruins after an earthquake or geat St. Bernards who go to rescue people lost in the Andes mountains.
I watch the parade on TV just for the part of the dogs.
I have lunch left from yesterday so I´ll just have to get some meat to thaw for tomorrow. Tania is coming and I´ll make a roasted pork for her.
See you around. I´ll be mylotting a lot today.

Thank you. It just finished so I´ll go to heat my lunch. I might also make a salad. I could make some avocado and ham wraps to begin with. The avocados all rippened at the same time.

I will. Dixie just called me that she is on her way back. She went elsewhere to see Marcela´s mother in law.
