Chicken Salad at a Seafood Restaurant

Today my husband and I met his daughter at a seafood restaurant for lunch. I am not a huge seafood fan, so while she had a salad with crab and shrimp, and he had a fried fish sandwich with fries, I had a chicken salad sandwich on a brioche bun with a side of cole slaw. And I am glad I did too because it was delicious and my husband was very disappointed in his fish sandwich. Do you like seafood? What do you order at a seafood restaurant?

Somehow it sounded right that at a fish restaurant the fish was disappointing, unlike the chicken!

@kouponkaren I limit myself to salmon, sea bass, trout and mackerel. Oysters are out.

I love my chicken salad, but I don't trust everyone who makes it. But glad yours was good. My favorite seafood is fried catfish and shrimp.

Seafood is my favorite type of food. That’s unfortunate since seafood is priced higher, and I can’t afford it often, but it also means it is a treat when I have some. Olive Garden doesn’t serve it anymore, but they used to serve a dish called Seafood Portofino with scallops, shrimp, crawfish, and mussels. It was so good!
