I dried those flowers

As some of you know I am crazy after those indigo butterfly pea flowers which are now blooming profusely in the garden. I make the blue tea every day. I also learnt how to preserve them by drying in the sun.
I used to normally use fresh flowers but I was surprised when I used two dry flowers the effect was the same The flowers shrink to almost one tenth of their normal size and yet the colour that they produce is amazing The dry flowers do not show any colour but when they are dipped in hot water the results are unbelievable.
Any surprising things you have experienced lately

Those flowers are certainly pretty as I have seen the pictures. Have I experienced anything surprising lately? I found out two days ago, a package I was waiting on had actually been delivered to my apartment complex office on August 24th, and I hadn’t been notified. “Shockingly”, no one can find the package now.

@allknowing I hate to think it, but I wonder if it was actually my apartment manager.

@AmbiePam He is supposed to be a kind of 'watchman' and if he has done it that is unthinkable

Never knew they retain the colour as well when dipped in water

I could not believe my eyes when I dipped those fully dried flowers - so tiny - producing that blue water.
