Today you’re going to get cheated. Not so much in the debate about whether this song that I find funny is humorous or not, but the length of it. This song is less than a minute long, and it’s going to take you longer than that to read this and copy & paste the link! Oh, well, here we go. #9: All Night Laundry Mat Blues - Joe Walsh But of course Joe Walsh was going to show up! This isn’t his funniest song in my opinion. That would go to “I.L.B.T.s;” however, there are community standards here that prohibit me from posting that one. But this is a slice of life that most of us have experienced at one time or another. Lug those clothes to the laundromat and endure (“a dollar in the dryer and it ain’t dry yet”). There was a place up in Cincinnati called Sudsy Malone’s that had the right idea: combine a laundromat with a bar that frequently had live music playing!! Why that place closed, I’ll never know, because that’s the way to do your laundry. Post-trip usually means sort and wash, and I’ll do that soon. At least now I get to do it at home.
