Deputy in Tennessee honored for saving the lives of an accident victim

This week Cumberland County Sheriff's Office Deputy Devyn Templeton was given the Life Saving Award at the Cumberland County Commission meeting after he saved the life of Kaylan Yalamanchini who was involved in an auto accident in July when Kaylan was driving his auto with his wife and four old son were trapped inside when the auto that was traveling from South Carolina to Missouri on Interstate 40 crashed into a tree and caught fire. Kaylan was outside of the auto that caught fire after it fell off of the road and hit the tree when Officer Templeton answered the call for help from Kaylan and Officer Templeton was able to get Kaylan's wife and his son out of the auto while it was on fire. Kaylan did thank the police officer for being his guardian angel after the rescue. Kaylan and his son suffered a broken leg in the accident and his Kaylan's wife suffered a back and arm injury in the accident. The good news is that the accident victims are expected to make a full recovery. Officer Templeton insists he was just doing his job since he took an oath to protect and serve his community to the best of his ability. Link is msn.com/en-news/us/...
