Yesterday was rough for me. I woke up feeling a bit achy I figured it was mostly due to the tropical storm that had rolled through for the weekend. But as the day progressed slowly I could feel it in my arms. I felt cold all of the time even with the heater on, me in warm clothes I felt cold. By the time the evening came up my nose and sinuses were full to the point that two of my kid's squeak voices pounded in my head. My neck felt stiff and sore.
Even got into the tub to relax and hoped it would help with my body feeling stiffish and cold. The warm water did help make me feel warmer. Didn't do much for my body otherwise. By the time I went to sleep even though my husband said I didn't have a fever, I felt hot and sweaty.
Finally, when I got to sleep I woke off and on through the night but I could tell sleeping was the magic trick. Even when I woke up sweaty at least my head was feeling better and most of the stiffness was gone. Yay to quick fast sinus head colds from moving on.

I'm glad you could literally sleep it off.

@ShyBear88 I know I'm always happy when I don't feel as much pain.

@kaylachan as much as I'm okay with pain I don't care for when I'm sick.

I have read in some magazines that deal with aches and pains of the body that a good night sleep for a long time will heal the pain in your body.

That really depends on what you are sick with if you have the flu or coved sleep alone will not be enough to make the pain go away. Speaking of the fact I've had both. The flu pain would go on for days it knocked me on my behind. Covid not so much since I wasn't really achy. But yes sleep can help with a lot of things.
