Before heading out to play music with Burl Jam today, I cooked up some Stouffer's turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes. I did not have any cranberry juice to remind me of my TV Dinner delights from childhood days, so I reached for the Serrano pepper I had gotten at Safeway.
It was not there.
I put on my smoking jacket, took a snort of cocaine, lit up my pipe, sat down in my comfy chair, and thought about what had happened.
If I had bought a small green pepper, it should on the counter in its usual spot. If it was not in its usual spot, it would have to be where it was before I lifted it to its usual spot. That could be in the bag in which it came.
I took another sniff of cocaine and thought.
I had accepted a bag, and it was a plastic bag, as I had wanted to use it to capture some slimy stuff that I would later take to the dumpster.
Therefore, the bag would be on the floor, perhaps with a receipt still in it.
Without so much as another snort or puff, I had solved the mystery.
I found the pepper (in the bag on the floor). It had only a touch of slime on it. I washed it off, and used it in my fine cuisine.
Do you like problem-solving? Do you think cocaine, a pipe, and tea go well together?

A few months ago, my mother freaked out that she couldn't find her car fob. I kept asking her where she last seen it, but she wasn't helpful. I looked everywhere. I finally found it outside. It fell out of a mop bucket.

I'm glad you found your pepper. I love to problem-solve; but I like to do it with a clear head. Have a good day.
