Grinding stone

We have a grinding stone that is a legacy from my husband's grandmother These days we do not have a maid and so that has not been used for a while.
Nothing like a grinding stone was proved this morning when we needed a chutney using curry leaves, coriander, coconut and other ingredients. On a grinding stone it would be done in just half an year. But our blender let us down.
Here men do a better job of grinding on a grinding stone but they only need to be taught how it is done So I am commissioning our gardener who anyway helps with a lot of kitchen work to finish what the blender could not do.
Do you have a grinding stone

The advantage of the grinding stone is that food does not heat up
