Dancer, Choreographer, Artistic Director, Entertainer, and now Author. Roland Kirouac's body of work has spanned over six decades. From his early days at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Quebec City to othe Opening Ceremonies of the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, Roland's dream to be the best at his craft has always guided his journey and has led him onto some of the world's biggest stages.
Roland shared his knowledge with Toronto's rising stars when he co-founded the Roland & Romaine School of the Performing Arts, where many future talents got their start. Roland's career continued to soar as he entertained Canadian household's on CTV's iconic Pig & Whistle Show and traveled to Hollywood to work with some of their biggest stars.
His personal story, his childhood, is not such a happy story. In fact it could be triggering for some readers.

How do you rate a memoir? How do you rate the story of one's life?
Roland Kirouac is known as one of "Canada's Finest Choreographers". His childhood was horrific). He found himself to be an excellent dancer and made it his goal to make it to Hollywood.
He achieved all that he set out to accomplish.
As a father of 3 sons his anger from his childhood reared its ugly head occasionally with his children, however, he did recognize the error of his ways as he knew where his anger came from.
I personally met Roland on a couple of occasions as he was a resident of my community. One of the questions he pummelled at me... "What do you want your legacy to be?" I couldn't then, nor can I now, answer that question.
The last couple of chapters include deep analysis of life and our existence. Some deep, enlightening commentary.
This memoir was published in 2019. Unfortunately Mr. Kirouac passed away this year... a matter of a few months ago. RIP.
