Went back and forth with somenone via an email, and then went out to water the plants.
Now I'm posting about that part of my oh-so-exciting day, and then I will let you know about more excitement--after I post this, I'm going to finish unloading the dishwasher! 
After that, I may go and put some mattress stabilizers on my bed. I hope they help.
