Yoga is now known the world over and many even in the West have adopted it and have made it their way of life..
I used to do certain poses but after my accident I had to stop those that involved twisting and bending Now I do Pranayama - a breathing exercise and Shavasana which involves just lying down and ordering every part of the body to relax.
There are scores of poses and every pose helps a certain part of the body and most aid in good blood circulation
The one you see in the photo is called Sirasana which is self explanatory
It is good to adopt atleast one or two poses in one's daily life.

@allknowing Pranayama & Shavasana are good for your body & mind set you relax.
If breathing is clear everything will be normal.

Where did you get this from? Yogo has nothing to do with religion . It is all about keeping one's body supple and brething right. I am a Catholic and I do not see anything wrong with this healh practice. It does not condemn any religion.

@akalinus Thanks for the link. It is what one feels while practising Yoga. And I have never felt it has anything to do with any religion

@allknowing I might have to walk that back some. Maybe I thought wrong. Here is a link to read if you want to.
What religion is yoga? If you're looking for a one-word answer, you'll be hard-pushed to find one. Ultimately this is a philosophical question that goes beyond "what religion is yoga?" and forces us to ask,
