I thought I had lost this

We always had Tithonia flowers both on the terrace and on the ground We collected seeds but most perished because of heavy rain.
I saw a stray plant which I nurtured with care not expecting it to survive but this morning I saw this flower that has yet to bloom fully. Had to capture it in my camera and share it with you. Now I will wait for it to wither so I can collect seeds and sow them.
I am hoping many other flowers will show up as rains seem to have subsided.

I looked after this lone plant like a baby. Asked the gardener to pay special attention. It was propped up and seen to it no pest attacked it. It was worth it.
