Sizzlers

While I was working some of us colleagues would eat at a place where they were specialised in sizzlers
Although the food was not that hot but when it was delivered on a metal plate it looked as though it was boiling. It even made that little sound.
I have not had a sizzler in years now but do have happy memories of rushing at lunch time and spending time at that little restaurant.

Many years ago, I used to eat at a restaurant specialised in sizzlers. They offer meat, vegetables on a metal plate. As you mentioned, that made a little sound. The restaurant has closed several years ago.

It makes a sizzling sound when it is served but actually the food is not that hot at all (lol) Yes. I can understand your excitement.

That sounds nice.
Sizzlers here was a restaurant..that was the name of it.
But it was steaks.

Sizzler is where food sizzles but here it was just a feeling that food was sizzling.
