T20 cricket is introduced in Los Angeles Olympics

T20 cricket is introduced in Los Angeles Olympics in 2028. There will be 6 teams playing the Olympics. This is the first time cricket is introduced. Surveys show that cricket is the 2nd most popular sport in the world after soccer.

Cricket was played in Olympics, but a very long time ago. Early 1900s. I think in 1904 the English team won the Gold medal by beating France. May be it was a five day format. Yet now T 20 cricket I'd gaining popularity. Even China has a team. It is gaining a bit of traction in US and some other Asian countries as well. Let's hope that Indian team is a medal winner then. Teams of Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc might be pitching in their best cricket teams for the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
