One puja pandal made the decoration of Mysore Palace.

In the city of Mysore there is a lovely palace. It was built by the kings of the place. In the Durga puja in Calcutta one of the Durga Puja Committees made the puja mandap as a replica of Mysore Palace. There are separate prizes for best Durga Idol, best decoration, best lighting.

Mandap designs are coming in a lot of varieties, colors and designs!
Hats off to the designers who have such creative minds!!
By the way, you know what sells the most during such celebrations - it's the Food stalls, with variety of Food preparations!!

thanks Prikhaji I agree with you. The good part of the festivals is that the idol makers, the decorators, lightmen get their earnings and livelihood from the occassion
