The whorls on my fingers

As part of the biometrics for identity issues finger prints are taken. I had to change the phone number of my Aadhaar card and for which finger prints were required. But the whorls on my fingers have disappeared and that was an unsuccessful attempt.
I do not know what else they will do but I was assured they will attempt it again and I do not know what methodology will be used.
Have you been through this exercise too?

That is what ever Indian must have. A kind of certificate that is unique to individuals with all identity biometrics - finger prints, mobile no. address, photo.................

@RebeccasFarm If you have to make any changes there the process is repeated and that is when your finger prints are required. Hope your whorls are intact.

@allknowing If I wanted a passport I would have to be fingerprinted. But nothing else requires it
