Heinrich Klaasen's superb and quick 109, aided by Reeza Hendricks' 85 and Marco Jansen's rapid 75 of 42 balls, South Africa scored a massive 399 runs in their 50 overs in their match vs England in Mumbai.
In response, England which plays the aggressive "Bazball" cricket slumped to 68 for 6 and ended up at 170 for 9.
Reece Topley could not play due to a hand injury.
229 runs is a big number.
It is England's biggest defeat in the ODI cricket.
While England still might have a chance to finish in the last four, they would need a massive improvement and it's an uphill task for them.
South Africa though looks like a real Cup contender.

Ben Stokes should not be in the squad. We needed him to bowl yesterday . PLay him as captain bot not an injured all rounder

I also think that the England bowling is lacking penetration unlike what we saw in the 2019 world Cup.
