Nature has no logic sometimes

I have written about the indigo butterfly pea flower and how difficult it was for me to introduce it in our garden.
It has been successfully introduced now and we have several yielding vines. Nature has pitched in too and we see a robust vine occupying a part of our lawn on the terrace. This was not called for as it will gradually destroy the lawn and we normally uproot any intervention .but this we have retained as it is loaded with flowers and we are drying these flowers for future use to make tea.
Tell me was nature right in doing this?
