Last night's chirping was the result of our carbon Monoxide detector. The batteries had died in it years ago, and had gone bad. We replaced them, and it's all quiet again.Looking last night, the other one is fine, but I might look into replacing the batteries just in case. I am glad I thought to get the last two packs at the store. My day is starting out well. Laundry is in the washer. Chilly is on the couch. And, we'll get a battery for our clock today. So today won't be boring.

When my carbon monoxide detector goes off, or its batteries are low, it doesn't just "chirp" it shrieks! Used to make my poor dog howl!

I'm just glad batteries was all it was and there wasn't a leak somewhere. That would not have been good.

I was busy all day online and feel like Monday just slipped away from me, My cats have abandoned me, They no longer come into the workroom, Now Freddie has decided to sleep on the cat tree, and his sister I guess likes his company so she sleeps on a table nearby, They can see me when I walk into the kitchen and look at me suspiciously as if I might disturb their peace,

I know how you feel. Cats get in their moods and will do as they see fit. I just got home from being out all day. The sun is starting to disappear, so it feels like the day is gone.
