I finished listening to Cabin at the End of the World by Paul G. Tremblay. There is a movie by M.Night Shalaman that is based on the book. It's called Knock at the Cabin. Yes, I watched it. Big Warning: there is lots of violence and one non-ending (an ending that doesn't ending which drives me crazy.). Spoiler below. Since I just posted about the movie, I won’t be doing a summary. But here is the differences between the movie and book. 1. Redmon's name is different. It's Roy in the movie and Jeff in the book. 2. Sabrina is the one killed in movie, but in the book it's Adriane . 3. the ending is different. Wen is killed in the book. In the movie Andrew kills Eric. 4. In the movie, Wen and Andrew stop at a diner and sees the news where it seems like they did save the world (in my opinion, I don’t really think they did.) In the book, Eric and Andrew are arguing about Eric killing himself to save the world, but he doesn't do it. Like I asked in the movie post, do you think you could sacrifice someone in order to save the world? Even though I think the ending should be longer, I did enjoyed this book. Now I'm listening to Trinity Sight by Jennifer Givhan.

I am intrigued by this book - oftentimes the book is better than the movies. And no, I am selfish that way - I cannot sacrifice the people I care and love, I would rather give up my own life.
