Firefighters in Florida rescue a dog trapped inside of an apartment.

Thanks to the efforts of the Tallahassee Fire Department who with the assistance of with the Leon County Emergency Medical Services and Tallahassee Utilities they were able to put a fire that started in a two story apartment building on Monday afternoon, a dog that was inside the building safely on Monday afternoon. The residents of the apartment that was on fire was not at home when the fire started. The fire started inside and spread to the attic. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
